Kerala Sea Plane Project :


THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Seaplane service, which will be launched today (02.06.2013), may earn the laurel of being one of the fastest completed projects in the history of the state. Kerala is the first state in the country to have aseaplane service after Andaman and Nicobar Islands.





"The project was started in late July last year and is now ready for inauguration. This is especiallystriking if you look at the time taken in getting a multitude of technical and other approvals from the central and state governments," said tourism secretary Suman Billa.
