The success from the Phase I clinical trial is due to the 30 years of pre-clinical research from Stephen Miller’s lab at Northwestern University. Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system damages the myelin sheath surrounding nerves. Patients with MS can suffer a deterioration of neurological, sensory, and motor function.
