What Would Happen if the Earth Stopped Spinning


If the Earth had no rotational spin, there would also be no day/night cycle. Instead of a cycle lasting 24 hours, it would take 365 days. The Earth would lose its tilt, and gravity would pull the Earth into a perfect sphere.

The good news? This can’t happen. Ever. No worries.
