SHARK POOL: RESORT
If you’re after a memorable water slide thrill, it’s hard to go past the
“Leap of Faith” rides at the Atlantis
resorts in the Bahamas and Dubai. An almost sheer drop built into the front
of a pseudo-Mayan temple (Bahamas, 18m) or Ziggurat (Dubai, 27m) builds up
enough momentum to send you shooting along a 60m transparent tunnel that runs
through an artificial lagoon populated by sharks. And no, you can’t take your
camera phone with you.
