Abbott’s Booby (Papasula abbotti), an endangered seabird and the largest of the booby species at 79cm long. Abbott's Booby only breeds in a few spots on the Australian territory of Christmas Island in the eastern Indian Ocean. Abbott’s Booby pairs mate for life and raise one chick every two or three years.
