The Kickstarter campaign for the ARKYD space telescope exceeded its initial goal of $1 million, so Planetary Resources added some stretch goals that would allow the telescope to be even better than originally anticipated. Even though the Kickstarter is over, many people have requested to pledge more money to help reach those extended goals. Through July 19, you will be able to sponsor this publicly accessible telescope and even have your picture sent into space! Other add ons will be available at a later date.
