Heart Touching Story !!!

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?" "You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness."  He said... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation.

When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her.

A Message For All..!!

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Mercedes.

He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.. As his car passed, no children appeared.

Instead, a brick smashed into the Merc's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Merc back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry executive then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?'

The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...'

With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car.
'It's my brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.

'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger.

Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the car.

The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention.!!'

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. "It's our choice to listen or not."

1. Go to the nearest bank and show them the functioning of the banks, how ATM's work and what is the benefit of it.

2. Take time out and visit orphanage, home for the aged and explain to them about those places.

3. Take them to the rivers,seas,oceans and teach them how to swim.

4. Give them saplings and ask them to plant them and water them and see them grow. Encourage them by saying that they will be presented with gifts for their good deeds.

5. Perform blood donations in front of them, and explain to them the need for it. Be a hero (role model) for them.

6. Take them to government hospitals and show them the difficulties the patients are going through. Tell them how difficult it is to go through this process of pain if you are met with an accident.

7. Take them to your hometown/village and let them spend time with their grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins. Let them experience the affection and good times of being with the family. Show them what is agriculture/farming and the difficulties a farmer goes through in providing the food that we are eating and that we should not waste food.

8. Take them to the nearby police station, court, jail. Explain them the punishments rendered to the inmates because of their wrong doings. This will make them aware of the bad things they should be away from.

9. Make them sit by you and ask them what their needs are and satisfy some of the useful ones and explain them which ones are essential and which ones are not. Give them a feeling that you are there for them.

10. Take them to all the places of worship without restricting to any single place. Take them to temples, Based on how much you know of each place explain it to them.

There was this king that had 10 wild dogs… He used them to torture and eat all ministers who made mistakes.

So one of the ministers once gave an opinion which was wrong, and which the king didn't like at all… So he ordered that the minister be thrown to the dogs.

So the minister said, “I served you 10 years and you do this???… Please give me 10 days before you throw me in with those dogs!”… So the king agreed…

In those 10 days the minister went to the guard that was guarding the dogs and told him he wants to serve the dogs for the next 10 days… The guard was baffled… But he agreed… So the minister started feeding the dogs, cleaning for them, washing them, providing all sorts of comfort for them.

So when the 10 days were up… The king ordered that the minister be thrown in to the dogs for his punishment. But when he was thrown in, Everyone was amazed at what they saw… They saw the dogs licking the feet of the minister!

So the king baffled at what he saw… Said:” what happened to the. !!!” The minister then said;” I served the dogs for 10 days and they didn't forget my service…Yet I served you for 10 years and you forgot all at the first mistake!”… So the king realized his mistake and ordered the minister to go free.

This is a gift to all those who forget the good in others as soon as a problem arises. Don’t wipe out the history that is filled with good because of a small incident you didn't like.

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone.

'Like heck they're getting divorced,' she shouts, 'I'll take care of this.'

She calls Mumbai immediately, and screams at the old man, 'You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then , don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR??' and she hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. 'Okay', he says, 'It's all set. They're both coming for our anniversary and paying their own airfare!!'

A lesson if one can understand. ........!!

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner. Father being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on his shirt and trousers.

Others diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm.

After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly.

When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.

The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father. At that time, an old man among the diners called out to the son and asked him, "Don't you think you have left something behind?".

The son replied, "No sir, I haven't".

The old man retorted, "Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father".

The restaurant went silent.

Wife : Oh dear, don’t worry .I am going to cancel today’s program of ordering Pizza. Why unnecessarily blow away Rs. 500 on eight pieces of stale bread.

Husband : Wow. Great .Snatching Pizza from us and giving to the maid !

Maid returned after three days and got busy in mopping and dusting. Husband asked her

Husband : So, how was the vacation ?

Maid : very nice sahib.. Didi had given Rs 500 .. festival bonus.

Husband : So you went and met your daughter ? and also met your granddaughter ?

Maid: yes sahib. Enjoyed a lot and spent Rs 500 in two days time.

Husband : Really ? OK so what did you do with Rs. 500?

Maid : Rs. 150 for dress for granddaughter, Rs 40 for a doll, bought sweets worth Rs 50 for daughter, Rs 50 as offering to Deity in temple, Rs 60 towards bus fare….Rs 25 for bangles for daughter, bought a nice belt worth Rs 50 for son-in-law, balance Rs 75 gave to daughter to buy copy and pencil for granddaughter. Maid gave a full account of the expenses incurred.

Husband : so much in Rs 500?

With surprise, he started thinking….the eight pieces of Pizza appeared in front of his eyes and each one of them acted as a hammer started pricking his consciousness. For the price of one Pizza , he started comparing the expenses his maid had incurred during her visit to her daughter.

The eight pieces of Pizza floated in front of his eyes. First piece .. dress for the child, second piece… towards sweets.. Third piece… towards offering to the deity in the temple. Fourth piece….towards bus fare. Fifth piece.. towards doll. Sixth piece towards bangles, seventh piece ,, towards belt for the son-in-law. Eight piece towards copy and pencil.

So far he had observed pizza only from one angle. He turned it upside down and observe how it looks like from the other side. .. but today his maid showed him the other side of the pizza…. The eight pieces of pizza showed him the real meaning of life..in an instant the meaning of “Spending for life” or “ Life for spending”.

Please don't throw your empty mineral water, juice or cold drink bottles. Please fill them, freeze them over night and next day when ever you step out of the house please take them with you in car. Just distribute on the road side poor people.

Believe me when you stop your car without their expectation and give them cold water bottle their smile will make your day. Lets make them smile and happy.

Fact of Life...!!

There was a blind girl who hated herself for being blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend who was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

One day she was donated a pair of eyes and she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her if she would like to marry him as promised.

The girl was shocked since she had already seen that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears.

This is how human behavior changes when the status changes. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.

Why wouldn't I want to have a brother like him? What would I do with a brother like Ram who left his pregnant wife after listening to a “Dhobi” though his wife always stood by his side like a shadow? After giving “Agni Pareeksha” & suffering 14 years of exile. 

Mom, you being a wife & sister to someone, until when will you keep on asking for a “RAM” as your son??? Mother was in tears.

Moral:- No one in the world is good or bad. Its just an interpretation about someone. Change Ur perception.
