True Story..!!

When the unthinkable happens, how do you deal?
This is a true story of Selena, 16, who opens up about her love and loss .
On March 3, I dropped by the school gym to wish my boyfriend, Wes, good luck – it was the last basketball game in his undefeated season. “I love you,” he said as we hugged. “I love you, too,” I said, giving him a kiss. It would be the last time we’d say those words.
When I first met Wes at a party at the end of eighth grade, we instantly bonded over sports – he played football and basketball; I played softball – and we kept in touch all summer. The day after school started in the fall, Wes and I were walking in the hallway when he blurted out, “I was wondering if you’d be my girlfriend.” He was so shy, he couldn’t even look at me! And I was so happy that it took me a full minute to say yes.
Wes and I were more than a couple – we were best friends. We would talk about our future, but we knew it was likely we’d end up at different colleges, so we were just enjoying every minute together.
The night of the big game, Wes was on fire, scoring point after point until we were tied in overtime. Then with just seconds left on the clock, Wes shot – and scored! We won! The whole school rushed the court to celebrate. I was just a few feet away when our eyes met and he smiled at me. I was so proud! Then suddenly Wes’s feet slid out from under him and he collapsed onto his back. I froze. Something has very wrong. “He’s dehydrated,” someone said, as the coaches pushed through the crowds to cover him with ice packs. I saw his dad standing over him yelling, “Breathe, Wes, breathe!” He’s not breathing?!? I thought. I fell to my knees and started screaming his name. I felt numb with panic as they carried Wes in a stretcher to an ambulance. I raced behind it to the hospital.
The waiting room in the hospital was packed and quiet except for the sound of hushed crying. After an hour and 15 minutes, a pastor came in and told us that the doctors had done everything they could – Wes was dead. I started crying so hard, my whole body hurt. I felt like I was going to throw up. I wanted to get away from everybody, out of that room, but I knew I had to say goodbye.
When I saw Wes, he was so pale that I could see his veins. His eyes were open slightly, and I kept staring at them, as if at any minute they might open all the way and everything would be okay. I held his hand and said, “I love you.” But I wanted to say so much more. I could write a novel about everything he meant to me: the small compliments he gave me every single day, the way he always noticed when I changed my hair, the way he looked at me in a crowd like we were sharing a secret. How was I supposed to get through this, I wondered, when Wes was the person who helped me through everything?
Later the doctors told us that Wes went into cardiac arrest because of an enlarged heart, a rare condition with no real warning signs. It’s only been a few weeks since he passed, and everything still reminds me of him – our song on the radio, the restaurant we went to for our anniversary, the turtle necklace he brought me from Hawaii. But all I can do is be grateful for the time we had. I realize that if you love someone, you should just try to be happy with them all the time. Make good memories instead of the bad ones – because no matter what happens, those are the ones you’ll want to look back on.

The Fish Story..!!!

The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. But the water close to Japan has not held many fish for decades. So to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The further the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring the fish. If the return trip took more time, the fish were not fresh. To solve this problem, fish companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen fish and they did not like the taste of frozen fish. The frozen fish brought a lower price. So, fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, they were tired, dull, and lost their fresh-fish taste. The fishing industry faced an impending crisis!

But today, they get fresh-tasting fish to Japan. How did they manage...?

To keep the fish tasting fresh, the Japanese fishing companies still put the fish in the tanks but with a small shark. The fishare challenged and hence are constantly on the move. The challenge they face keeps them alive and fresh.!!

Have you realized that some of us are also living in a pond but most of the time tired and dull....? Basically in our lives, sharks are new challenges to keep us active. If you are steadily conquering challenges, you are happy. Your challenges keep you energized. Don’t create Success and revel in it in a state of inertia. You have the resources, skills and abilities to make a difference. Put a shark in your tank this year and see how far you can really go..!!!!

DO NOT GIVE MONEY !!

You may think you are helping a mother feed her young ones. If so, think about these issues.

A - Thousands of babies are abducted everyday for the begging "business".

B - Many babies are mutilated and disabled for life to extract sympathy from onlookers.

C - Almost of all of these babies are drugged and incapacitated while being taken out on "business".

D - A mother will seldom use her children to get alms from someone else. Most of these babies are "rented" on a daily basis from cartels.

E - Not even a paisa of what you give will reach these hapless babies.
STOP giving money to anyone carrying a baby. Put a stop to this begging with baby business. Put an end to kidnapping and child abuse.

Please share it with others and help them understand !

Short And Sweet..!!

You will love this one... for sure.

Once there was an island where all the feelings lived together. One day there came a storm in the sea and the island was about to drown .Every feeling was scared but Love made a boat to escape. All the feelings jumped in the boat except for one feeling. Love got down to see who it was...it was Ego! Love tried & tried but Ego didn't move. Everyone asked Love to leave Ego & come in the boat but Love was meant to Love. It remained with Ego. All other feelings were left alive but Love died because of Ego!!

Think over it.....

I love it every time I read it.

A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.

Suddenly, her husband came into the kitchen.

"Careful," he said, "Careful! Put in some more oil! Oh my GOD! You're cooking too many at once. Too many! Turn them!

Turn them now! You need more oil. Oh my God! Where are we going to get more oil?

The eggs are going to stick! Careful, careful! I said be CAREFUL!

You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you crazy? Have you lost your mind?

Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget that. Use the salt. Use the Salt! The Salt!"

The wife stared at him angrily, "What is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?"

The husband calmly replied, "I just wanted to show you how it feels like when I'm DRIVING and you do the same.! ! !"
