With over 43,000 study participants and a 17 year long study, it was shown that women who drank 28 cups of coffee per week were twice as likely to die during the study as women who drank less coffee. Male heavy coffee drinkers had an 56% increased rate of early death.
Though drinking coffee has shown to provide several health benefits such as reduced risk for certain cancers, as with everything, moderation is key.
