 If you go to heaven, there is nothing to worry about. If you go to hell, you will be so busy shaking hands with your old friends; you wont have time to worry. So why worry at all?!

BACTERIA - A “LIVE WIRE”

            A special type of bacteria has been discovered in the ocean which join together to form a long conducting nanowire cable to transport electrons and capture the oxygen at the surface for metabolic use.

              This belongs to a class of anaerobic bacteria called Desulfobulbaceae. They live not as individuals but as groups strung together as a long filament. These filaments capture the electrons generated during oxidation and transport them during reduction. It is an example of bacterial filaments acting as electric nanowires.

Children’s day falls on November 14, the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is also a day to celebrate childhood and all the joys that accompany it.

Pandit Nehru was born to Motilal Nehru and Swaroop Rani in Allahabad. He will always be remembered for his role in India’s struggle for freedom. He made history by becoming the first Prime Minister of Independent India. He was very fond of children and was called Chacha Nehru. He also liked roses and often compared the two saying, children were like the buds in a garden.

            Vishalini, a 11 year old girl from Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu born to an electrician father has the highest IQ in the world. Her IQ stands at 225, which is considerably higher than the previous Guinness of World Record holder Kim Ung-Yong whose IQ is approximately 210. Her wonderful accomplishments include the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). By scoring 90% in CCNA, she has broken the record of  Pakistani girl Arfa Karim Randhawa. She has participated at an international conference held NITK, Mangalore, where she was invited as guest speaker.

 Assume that initial there were 3*X bullets. So they got X bullets each after division. All of them shot 4 bullets. So now they have (X - 4) bullets each. But it is given that, after they shot 4 bullets each, total number of bullets remaining is equal to the bullets each had after division i.e. X

Therefore, the equation is 3 * (X - 4) = X

3 * X - 12 = X

2 * X = 12

X = 6

Therefore the total bullets before division is =3*X=18
